They're impossible to find. I have a '01 and never seen one except going down the road on a truck. The truck places want $1500 to $5000 for them. The cheapest one I found was one of those aluminum units that looks like an old travel trailer from the '60s. It was $1500.

I had a hard time going from a redline of 13,000rpm to the 9500rpm that my CB500X has. When I test rode the NC700, I couldn't stay off the rev limiter. I'm not even a speed junky. I just like to get through the curves around the mountains. Damn those things really slow ya down.

You can get a browser add-on for firefox and chrome that fixes the picture problem. Here is the place to get it for firefox 60+. I don't use chrome or any other browser on my computer. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/jlevers/

The single rear door would be a utility cap and not a popular option for most people. Here is one very similar to the one that was on an 80's ford long bed F250 that I drove for work many years ago.

Has anyone seen any caps, campers, or topers for the new Colorado/Canyon? I like the solid side high top utility caps with the one man door in the center rear.

Rats. I could do it in an '87 long bed ranger I used to drive on a farm where I worked. It was a selling point for the Rangers when they first came on the scene.

Yeah, but can I drop a stack of plywood in the bed and it not hang out past the tailgate?

POD: Homebuilt foam core fiberglass skin pop-up camper build thread

Flexible sanding boards come in all kinds of lengths. They are common in boat building. Use light pressure on the ends where your hands are or it will cut deep into the area you're sanding...

2005 AWD Express build (not Vanilla)

Well, another option I have seen is that chrome door edge trim use on door panels and trim pieces to help stop squeaks. I don't know how well it works but it looks kind of ghetto fabulous. It doesn't work on all panels.

1/8th-inch upholstery foam laid over the moisture barrier behind plastic panels will help eliminate the squeaks.

The 01+ 6.0L was rated at 345hp. Around 05, if I remember correctly, they got a bump up in power. I'm not sure how much. Pricing depends on where you live and the mileage of the engine. Around me, an engine 100-150k goes for around $700 to 850 as a complete take out. You will need the wiring...

If you really want to do this, roughly '05 6.0L cargo van engine and transmission would be the most powerful engine to chose and easiest swap. The van computer doesn't usually have all the extra crap programmed into it that a truck would have or a conversion van. The transmission can be...
