Lid for off brand 10.25" cast iron skillet.

I have Lodge, Outdoor Gourmet, American Camper and unbranded CI, they're all pretty much interchangable. If I need a lid for a 10.25 skillet I sometimes use the lid off of a 5 quart DO, sometimes I use an old SS Revere Ware lid handed down from my mom. For the 9 inch skillet I use an enamel...

Indoor dutch oven on a tripod

No way I would use a tripod indoors. Depending on what burner you're using a flat bottom DO will just sit on the burner grate. If using a legged DO you might need to remove the grate and set the DO on the stove top to get it level. For small single burners you may want to use a folding trivit.

Bulkhead mounted Anderson Plug to go on a rear bumper

Powerwerx PanelPole2 is all you need for a 150 watt panel. Renogy, and most manufacturers, sell suitcase panels without charge controllers. Check on the manufacturers web site.

    Smartphone apps on new fridges

I have a Dometic CFX with their original app, maybe they've been improved. Every time you step out of range it disconnects and has to be manually connected, which means you have to walk back to the fridge anyway. I quit using the app years ago.

Propane quick disconnect and 20Lb tank

I believe that the Everest uses regulated high pressure so you'll need the original regulator to use a hose with a 1 inch high pressure connection or risk losing BTUs at the burner. The others use low pressure so you'll need a splitter between the tank and the low pressure regulator. The...

    Dual Battery System Grounding Question

Parallel simply means that the batteries are connected positive to positive and negative to negative, the length or composition of the conductors is not mentioned. On my 208 Silverado the positive of the starter battery is directly connected to the master fuse on the firewall and the negative...

    Camp Chef Everest

Don't know what you can get across the pond. There are still some old high pressure stoves over here that run on 15psig. Those regulators aren't available anymore so some folks are using adjustable regulators.

    Enclosure box for remote charger?

You can pull the individual units out of the panel and drill the box if a different configuration makes a more compact package. I think you need a 1 1/8 diameter hole for the individual unit.

    Let's talk about Solar Blankets

The Acopower 120 watt panel, panel only, is currently on sale on amazon for $244.96. It meets my needs as stated above. I probably won't be able to do a real live test for a couple of months.

    Let's talk about Solar Blankets

I have a similar need. I have a fully integrated PV system on the camper but wanted a portable panel to maintain the aux battery on my truck, which powers a 12 volt fridge. Like you I can't justify the cost of the true PV blankets so I got a 100 watt Dokio from Amazon, because it was cheap...

A constant voltage converter and a smart charger together on the same battery circuit

I've been trying to find an image or manual of your Magnatek but don't trust what I'm seeing on google. If you are using the entire box It should already have the 110 breaker panel and 12 volt fuse panel to support your needs. If you are only using the transformer from the box then you will...

A constant voltage converter and a smart charger together on the same battery circuit

Now I'm running a Dometic CFX 40. Before that I had a CF 25, which only ran on 12 volt. So when shore power was available I would put a charger on the battery, which was able to fully charge the FLA battery while keeping the fridge running, so I understand what you're doing. I would...

A constant voltage converter and a smart charger together on the same battery circuit

My question would be is the converter even needed. My fridge, if plugged into both 110 AC and 12 DC will select the 110 AC for power. In which case I would only need a dual110 outlet, essentially a dual outlet extension cord, to power both the fridge and the battery charger.

7 Pin for charging + 4 pin for driving?

You don't have to rewire the whole trailer to convert from 4 to seven pin. Just get a 7 pin trailer side plug, cut the light wires off of the 4 pin and connect them to the 7, run a charge wire from the the aux pin directly to your DC-DC charger, or the positive battery post if you don't have...

Recommendations Wanted - Poor Man's Group 27 Deep Cycle or Marine/Trolling Batteries

You can generally figure that Amp Houra @ 20 hour rate is slightly more than half of Reserve capacity @ 25 amps. There are formulas on the net if you want to get specific.

Camp Tables - What are you using?

Started our with a Roll-a-Table, like KENPERK's. Pretty good table for canoe camping but I didn't care for it as a cook table. I was always worried about the vinyl cover on the top and it wasn't really sturdy enough for cooking around people who might be slightly intoxicated. Then went to a...

    Waxy contaminant in propane line

Have you contacted Partner Steel to see if anyone else is reporting this issue and how they resolved it? Have you seen the waxy residue upstream of the schrader valve, say inside the mpt fitting at the regulator? How full/empty is the lp cylinder? As far as finding the connector is concerned...

    Waxy contaminant in propane line

Being a of a fairly simple mindset I have to look at what is unique in the situation. You have a relatively popular stove and connector hose and no one else seems to be reporting this problem. The only uniqueness in the system is your propane supplier. If you can clean up the existing...

Getting solar power into my truck

Yes you are. The voltage lost is dissipated as heat to the atmosphere, not easily detectable at these levels but there.
