    Portable camp fire grates...?

Do you build the fire on top of this? The pictures on Amazon show this just being used as a grill - not a fire grate, as the original poster is looking for.

Does anyone have experience with Dock Outdoors Field Kitchens? (Zarges based chuck box)

The Dock camp kitchen was actually mentioned on Expedition Portal in 2017, when it was in the prototype phase --- looked good even back then https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/kitchen-kit-chuck-box.21268/post-2344881

Does anyone have experience with Dock Outdoors Field Kitchens? (Zarges based chuck box)

I just found out that the Dock camp kitchen has been posted on Expedition Portal before... in 2017 before it had a name -- it was in the prototype stage. It looked amazing back then too... https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/kitchen-kit-chuck-box.21268/post-2344881

    Collapsible springlike coffee pour over

That's pretty nice -- I wasn't even aware we had Daiso in Austin, I'll have to swing by there and pick one of these up. It sure beats SnowPeak's $30 for essentially the same thing... https://www.snowpeak.com/products/collapsible_pour_over-cs-113?_pos=2&_sid=9758cd4b4&_ss=r

Does anyone have experience with Dock Outdoors Field Kitchens? (Zarges based chuck box)

AHH! thanks for pointing this out! I've seen some photos showing a 22 inch stove with the Dock set-up. A 22 inch will fit on top, but I didn't realize they couldn't be stored inside the compartment. Good catch -- thanks again!

Thanks for researching the other products that are similar -- the Dock does seem like a better product than it's competition.

Does anyone have experience with Dock Outdoors Field Kitchens? (Zarges based chuck box)

I cross-posted this in the Expedition Portal Forum "Overland Chef", but figured I might have more response here in "Storage Solutions": I ran across these the other day and was surprised to find little information on Expedition Portal about them. They look well designed, but I was hoping...

    Snow Peak Addiction

Just letting everyone with the Takibi fire-pit know that IKEA makes a zippered bag that fits it nicely -- PARKLA. Snow Peak and IKEA may be on opposite ends of the consumer-goods spectrum, but flat-packing is flat-packing... It's strong enough to hang the fire-pit and accessories on my wall...

    Portable camp fire grates...?

I have a Snow Peak Takibi fire pit -- it works wonderfully and it flat-packs. It's a luxury item, but works great for glamping and overlanding (a lot of Aussie's swear by this style of portable fire-pit) It's one of my favorite items and brings me joy each time we use it --- it also is good for...

    ARB Differential Cover

One of the factors of water getting in is temperature... If your diffs are hot and then you plunge them into cold water the air inside contracts and pulls a vacuum. This force is much greater than normal forces pushing outward on a diff -- this is why water seems to get in even if the oil never...
