Looks great! We've been wondering how to mount our propane tank. Should be able to run the hose to the stove on the tailgate table.

We use the metal filter at home, and like you we use paper filters when camping for the same reasons

Hi, we have a Roofnest Eagle mounted on our Scout trailer, which is 85" long. So, we mounted bracing to the front of the main box. The attached picture is not great but should give you some idea of what we did.

Agree, but our plan is not to store the propane canister in that location. We would put the canister there when needed. It would be an easy setup.

How well does the 1640ESP do off pavement, e.g. on forest service roads, etc? Also, did you do any suspension and/or tire/wheel mods?

It snows here in the winter so we haven't yet installed the Sunrider this year. From what I recall it does rest on the crossbar but doesn't present a problem for us, and we've driven with the top open at freeway speeds.

We have the Rhino-Rack backbone 3 crossbar system and the Bestop Sunrider, and it works fine.

We actually did something different. Instead of cutting that piece of the latch we bent it the other way and flipped it.
