Looking for input, opinions. Want to add solar and fridge to ATC Bobcat

Just realized battleborn batteries are only 15 min away from me. Derp! Spendy but worth it is my takeaway. Hoping to get out with the tape measure After it cools down. Funny how much nevada popped up, reno here. majority of my time is in very sunny places, dont go up north too all often. Sun...

Looking for input, opinions. Want to add solar and fridge to ATC Bobcat

Late reply, thanks for the info. Sounds like ive got to check a few more angles but the battery thing makes sense. Def will get good measurements up top to see how much panel i can put up there. Also looking at a lesser fridge, like the arb or the new dometic ones, like cfx . Ill never be able...

Need the solar/power pros to weigh in

Excellent, thanks for the advice, im going to measure out my space to see what i can accommodate. I have a fantastic fan in the rear third and a vent in the front, so i might be limited in that capacity.

Need the solar/power pros to weigh in

If the pros wouldnt mind weighing in as I learn my way to a sloar setup on my 2017 AT Bobcat pop up. Equipment to power: 1) propane heater with blower fan 2) 4xLED lights, rarely use more than one at a time, never for very long. 3) Fantastic fan, rarely use for more than 5min at a time. 4)...

AT Bobcat, going solar. How did you mount your panels?

Finally got to get with it and get some solar going. Camper is wired for it from AT, so sounds like ill just need panels and a controller. I have plug ins at the rear and roof of the camper. I was hoping to be able to use some freestanding or tripod setup until spring/summer is back, then i can...

    Yet another AGM/battery bank question....

Thanks, ill def look into the victron. For troubleshooting i left the camper on this week for commuting to work, 64 mi round trip. Three of those combined with 2 hrs to destination should get me there. also drove 3 hrs home on sunday, so that should all add up.

    Yet another AGM/battery bank question....

So, its not necessary to have truck battery and the house battery be the same AGM or non- type? With my storage situation and climate, a charger or solar aren't really in the cards. I have some annoying constraints between pounding snow and keeping it at a storage, outdoors. The truck is my...

    Yet another AGM/battery bank question....

Hi all, searched and searched but so many threads and tangents. Hard to tell if im getting the gist of what might be going on with my loss of power. My deal: -have an AT Bobcat, recently replaced the battery in it with Odyssey PF680, has not been able to keep power enough to make it through the...

Replacing hehr front slider window with solid window...glass or whole unit? Anybody done it?

Sorta, it would be ghetto and Id have to redo it often. The center slider part slides bth ways so caulking would be the only thing holding it shut and in place. Ive thought about it and its still an option if it costs $texas to swap.

Replacing hehr front slider window with solid window...glass or whole unit? Anybody done it?

My front slider at the cab side (AT Bobcat, 2017) leaks so much water (and dust) I just cant stand it anymore, especially after this winter of the endless white death. Has anyone done this sort of thing before on any Hehr or 5900 slider? The leaky slider is a pretty chronic problem IIRC. Its a...

    Keeping dust out

My stock ones on my AT were totally aggravating, they slid open under acceleration or incline, looked cheap as hell, wind and dust just blew in, and one broke the first time I used the camper. I fashioned some out of baltic birch that I laminated and made a 1/8" cork gasket surface border to...
