Don't give up on it you can fix it or pull al your good parts and get another one. Glad your OK.

Fun day in the dirt also had brother in from out of town taking pictures. I need more articulation think the OME shocks are limiting the travel as my older shocks seamed to articulate more.

It seems that current draw from your lights are pulling more than the wiring and connector were designed for. You are better off wiring an external relay powered by the light switch that will switch a separate fuse power from the battery to feed your lights. What other lights do you have...
