Retro fitting '85 FWC hawk to a '08 ram 2500

Update... Sold the hawk and made a $100 profit on it. Bought an early 2000 model grandby. Far better than rebuilding the old.

Just picked up a new tow rig. I think the grandby fits like a glove in the long bed. It feels right.

    Northstar 850sc question

I have a quick question. Will a 2005 NS 850sc longbed model work in a shortbed truck? From what I read, yes but I need real world answers. There is a really affordable camper close to me I’m considering on getting

Retro fitting '85 FWC hawk to a '08 ram 2500

Retro fitting '85 FWC hawk to a '08 ram 2500

FWC rep just called back and fave me a quote of $2100 to have the canvas replaced and $4500 for the roof and canvas. Everything has to be custom made and installed by fwc. It's an option but really don't want to spend that type of cash.

Retro fitting '85 FWC hawk to a '08 ram 2500

The most difficult problem is to make it fit my hemi 2500. The hawk is 64" squared and my truck bed tapers...
