Recovery Bag options (other than an ARB bag)...

Craigslist is a good idea, great find with the 3 cases there... and your right about the pelican case as a lifetime investment. I've had 2 small pelican cases for 15+ years, they have traveled 20k+ miles around alaska and the yukon territory. They are showing sings of wear but still function...

Recovery Bag options (other than an ARB bag)...

I've used military surplus ammo cans before as well. I found the flat style worked well for the snatch block and shackles, and are pretty much indestructible. Pelican cases are very nice and extremely tough, but generally expensive...make a friend with a dealer. If your on a budget watch for...

    Aluminum or iron dutch oven?

My vote would be for a cast iron as well, I've had some really good meals out of cast iron and if maintained it will last several lifetimes. In scouts I did see a group warp their aluminum dutch oven, not badly but enough the lid didn't fit right anymore. That said I been meaning to get a dutch...

    Front receiver hitches

I'd vote for a front receiver hitch as well. We added a front receiver hitch to my CJ7. It made moving trailers around the yard a breeze, you can see exactly where you and the trailer are going. I just happened to see this old picture of my jeep moving a converted sailboat trailer into a...

A tale of two Cummins trucks... What would you do?

Well I've been slowly looking at getting a Dodge Diesel again and have been looking at similar trucks, although I will probably keep it to a 12v unless its a really good deal on a 24v. Being from NY I hate rust and would go with the truck with the least rust. I have seen several 2nd gen dodges...
