    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

No doubt. When I provided feedback it wasn’t with the intent of being used as a motorcycle tie down. Sounds like it’ll be good for your use. It’s not just the thickness of the brackets, but also the angle they now come out. I’m fairly confident I could bend them quite easily with ratchet...

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

The replacement tie down loops are not nearly as heavy duty or at a similar angle/design. I feel that using a ratchet straps on the built right panels at the wrong angle could easily bend them.

    I'm BACK!!! 2023 F-250 Tremor build

I have the same bulkhead built right panel. I use it to mount my bikes when I’m not using my one-up rack. I was a bit disappointed in the production description, videos, and design. In lieu of repeating myself, attached is my feedback to built right, and a photo of the install.

    2020 F250 6.7L Tremor w/ Carli & 37’s Build Thread

Thank you for the feedback! Good to hear. Seeing a lot of good things on the Tremor forum. Saw a few comments elsewhere on the internet about people having balancing issues, but seems pretty isolated. I’ll get around to an Oliver thread at some point!

    2020 F250 6.7L Tremor w/ Carli & 37’s Build Thread

Looking at my tires, they are getting close to replacement. The tread depth is between 5/32 and 8/32. Tread isn’t too bad, but there’s some concerning dry rot/cracking in between the threads. I put on the 37” Ridge Grapplers at 15k miles and the truck currently has 55k miles, so not terrible...

    2020 F250 6.7L Tremor w/ Carli & 37’s Build Thread

The axle flip doesn’t work on the Oliver. The tried it at the factory for a customer and it came out terrible. Wayyyy too tall and basically unsafe, I saw some pictures that were posted. The Casita has a torsion axle so to lift you can add steel between the axle and frame (which is how mine was...

    2020 F250 6.7L Tremor w/ Carli & 37’s Build Thread

Been a long time since updating this thread. Minimal changes to the truck with the exception of adding airbags. Putting more and more miles on it. Sitting at around 56k and couldn’t be happier with the reliability. I have a 7 yr, 125k mile ford bumper to bumper warranty, so plan to keep it at...

Who's building the best 3/4 Ton/ 1 Ton Gas Truck these days!

I find Fords extended bumper to bumper warranty’s to be reasonable on their diesel super duty’s, If unexpected costs are a concern. I have a 2020 6.7 F250 and purchased the bumper to bumper 7 yr/125k warranty through ford. I understand you had payload concerns as well, which likely negates the...

Off Road Casita - All the amenities of a 40’ trailer in a very capable 17’!! *SOLD!!*

As it sits and relatively loaded (generator on rack, tanks part full, some stuff on the rack) it was weighed at 4060 lbs. I’d imagine loaded to the hilt it may be 4200-4300. We towed it for thousands of miles with the 4runner plenty fine (5000# capacity). It’s currently in NE Houston at our...

Off Road Casita - All the amenities of a 40’ trailer in a very capable 17’!! *SOLD!!*

*Edit - we are purchasing a larger trailer this weekend so now more aggressively selling. Dropping the price from $43k to $40k OBO. The longer we have it after this point, the more flexible we’ll be on the price. I am selling my heavily built up off-road oriented Casita. I have been a...

Thoughts on 2023 Ford Super Duty for Family Travel?

For purposes of the thread, the 6’9” bed for super duties is considered the short (or maybe regular?), while the 8’ is considered the long bed.. Sort of just semantics.. I did see the discussions of Tacomas in which the short vs long (long still shorter than the ‘short’ super duty) plays more...
