Thanks. Love the trailer.. Works great. Actually built the trailer before I got the pop up. Was a little worried at first about weight on my truck, but it does just fine. Anything we dont need quick access to we keep in the trailer, extra water, food, chainsaw, tools. I figure this way I can keep...

It might be ridiculous! But can I cut 17 inches off my Palomino Truck Camper Pop-up?

That sounds like alot of work. if I was going to attempt this I think I'd look at shortening the front part that fits in the bed. Then you wouldn't even need to mess with the top or lift system. Of course that might really screw up the weight ratio, and not sure how far the bed would be hanging...

My new popup, what is it?

It looks like a few of the camper companies use that same roof and corners. I'm leaning towards it being a Northstar though. Pink foam, what a great idea. Light weight and rigid. Hows it holding up?

My new popup, what is it?

Good advice. Boards would definately be temporary. I was thinking the same way with screwing a piece of ply to the bottom and be done with it.

My new popup, what is it?

My daughter and I are going to take it on a shakedown run this weekend to Yellowstone and see how it does. Maybe I'll raise it up a little before or at least bring some boards with us if I need to.

My new popup, what is it?

Thanks tanglefoot. Kind of my thoughts also on being newer than 85. As far as clearance goes, I have about a inch up there. How much clearance is usually needed for flex?

My new popup, what is it?

I was thinking it looked a little like a Skamper or Sunlite from the top,but the lower windows and wrapped back didn't seem right. as far as the Keystone part goes . There's nothing on the camper anywhere that says Keystone. I know there is a Keystone RV dealer and also a Keystone travel trailer...

My new popup, what is it?

I hope it holds up well, I'm really starting to like it. I guess if it starts falling apart I'll just have to rebuild it so it will be worthy.

My new popup, what is it?

Hi everyone. I just picked up a new to me camper and thought I'd show it off and maybe get some info. I was told this was a 1985 Keystone(manufacturer), but can't find any info except on the FWC Keystone when I google it. Also can't find anything on the camper anywhere saying what it might be...

Opinion question on trailer dimensions -

My trailer is a 4x6 as are a lot of other builds out there. I feel its a great size for towing in the back country, and have always had enough room for everything we need.Tracks well behind my 1st. gen Tundra. Jack knifes real real real easy when you need to turn around in the middle of nowhere...
