    Snomaster, love em

I'm over in here in South Africa trying to finish sorting out a Patrol that I'm going to use all over the place for the next couple years. I had picked up a 67 dual fridge/freezer from Snomaster. It's a sexy beast and seems well put together. I ran it for a day or two, then turned it off...

    Patrols are beasts

I'm loving driving this monster, i took it to an off road course the other day and I was amazed. I'm pretty sure my Colorado would have made it through, but not like the Patrol did. A walk in the park lol.

Hi there, Seeing if someone happens to have a brilliant, cost smart idea for how to provide locks in a situation where I adding hinged side panels to my bed rack. I want to add a lock to the front, and to the rear corners. I don't want to just slap a padlock on to the corners for a couple...

Fuel pump for transfer from storage

Anyone have a pump wired in to pump from their fuel storage to their main tank? I was planning on just using a siphon to pull fuel from my jerry cans to my tank, but I am thinking about wiring in a pump on a toggle switch. Insert hoses to tank and jerry, flip a switch.

To sway or not, that is the question

Sway bar removal? So, I understand how the removal would be usefull for hard off roading, but what about for just rough dirt/sand? No massive articulation needed, but think of doing 100 miles on harsh washboard, wouldn't it be helpful to have it removed? Also, how does it's removal impact...

the "Sure, Why Not?", sort of a build thread - Colorado

Figured I might as well start a "build" thread ?, and since to be cool I clearly needed a BUILD NAME, I went with a name that sort of explains it all "Sure, Why Not?" Listing of details at this time - 7/28/18 Original owner - 2015 Chevy Colorado - z71 Crew Cab, Long bed (6' bed), 4wd, v6...

    Eibach in the Chevy

Dealt with getting the Eibach Pro Kit installed on my Colorado. Let me say DAMN!!! The ride has significantly improved (and I didn't think it was bad to begin with) and the boost in clearance is a nice addition. I figured that after about 130,000 my 2015 Colorado wouldnt complain about new...

    Mounting gear to a Softtopper

Any of you Softtopper users come up with a clip-on/clamp/thingy to attach lightweight items (15# or less on each wall, 25# or less on the ceiling) to the inside of the Softtopper supports?? Thinking doing such could provide some decent storage options for, as an example: Left Side/Axe - Right...

    Added Shackles - 2015 Colorado z71

Shackles done. - https://archivegarage.com/products/5-shackles-304ss Let me start by saying my truck is strange. I failed to get measurements back in 2015 when I got the truck but somebody had a measurement and their truck (stock, lb cc z71, like me) had it as Lr 35 7/8" and Rr 36 7/8"...

    Grounding Fuel Storage

I'm working on adding fuel storage my truck bed to carry 15 gallons (57l) of fuel. I am concerned about the static electricity issue and the slight possibility of blowing crap up, unintentionally (intentionally blowing things up can be fun). The bigger issues seem to revolve around plastic...

Anyone have a rtt cover made? Any detailed pictures of an EziAwn cover? Why not?

My RTT cover is old but works, however I hate the zipper and I'm not a fan of the way it fits. I liked the eziawn that slips over the rtt and is snugged UNDER the base. Am I wrong in thinking that is better for keeping moisture out when compared to a zip cover that can leave actual fabric...

    Rtt and satellite radio

I'm trying to track down why my XM radio has started having "issues" with reception. Has anybody had issues with reception after putting an rtt on their truck? It didn't start as soon as I mounted my tent, and the tent is mounted behind the receiver, and doesn't cover it. However the last few...

    Engel fidge mounting question

(f"r"idge, not fidge) I for some reason feel a bit idiotic asking this, but I guess it would be much worse to be wrong and find out the hard way! Any reason to NOT take the feet off of an Engel fridge when you mount it? I can see them adding some very slight vibration protection but...??? I'm...

My 2015 is slowly getting upgraded. I waited till it was properly broken in to start doing much on it, a 110,000 miles sounded like a good number.
