    The Memorial F150 Craptor.

Cheap winches are fine. I have run a Smittybuilt for many years, used it many times and no issues. How are you doing? I lost my wife in 2019 and similarly took solace in a build. Your thought process and semi-rambling above is familiar to me :). If you ever need anything man DM me and I'll send...

    Project "Autonomous" F-350

Try bolt cutters. I don't have any expirience mounting/dismounting tires but I do with bolt cutters. Good ones will do the job.

    -1973 K5 - Project Canyonero

Yes! Thanks so much for the bump. Not a lot of progress on the K5 though but the Silverado looks very different. I can't believe it has been two years since that last post. I have remarried, lost 100 pounds, lost my job of 16 years due to Covid, lost more and more and more family, moved across...

    Larry's 1978 K10

Oh I'm sure, probably (like me) been called "turbo" a few times in his day. My K5 will do 100 no problem, straight as an arrow the needle passes 85 and pegs out pointed straight down. All of this takes about 20 minutes and 1/2 a tank of gas of course, but I do have 4.10's on 35's with a 700R4...

    Larry's 1978 K10

"The answer would be to slow the hell down on the Interstate, which I am not going to do." -Larry Think I'm gonna tattoo this down my left arm so that every time someone tells me this is the remedy for all my woes I can just point at it... should save me about 17 hours a year worth of heated...

That is something else my dad said to me, start with a toe... I think I have all of the parts to start with the front end. I have a whole 2nd truckl, sort of just in case.

That's the advice my dad is giving me too. I wanna start cutting body panels and he says, "well let's get the steering column fixed". I have tried to include him in this since I got it, for the same reasons you mentioned. It's good advice.

    My 02 Avalanche NFE

I loved your article. The avalanche (even more so in 8.1L 3/4 ton goodness) is a fantastic truck that gets no respect.

    Warn Industries Supports Expedition Portal

So I have a new Sidewinder sitting and waiting to go on the truck. The issue is the winch hook that is on the rope I have is the permanently affixed type, it was installed at the factory as the eyelet was installed. Is my best option just to cut it off with an angle grinder or something? I've...

    -1973 K5 - Project Canyonero

So where to begin with this update... The short version is I still have the truck, it is in running driving condition. It came back from the frame shop in late 2018 with the new custom ORD suspension and everything dialed in pretty well. It runs and drives better than ever. The only thing left...

K5 Camper. My offroad home away from home.

Cool, I've been waiting to see more of this truck for a while now, basically since you guys dragged it home. I'm super envious of the camper too. It's a perfect rig when correctly built.

I've had this about a year now and have been slowly shaping it into a capable rig. I still have the K5 but this has been more reliable/practical for the family to just jump in and go.
