Set of TWO Gobi rack crossbars. These fit Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU Gobi roof racks. Should fit both the Ranger and the Stealth series racks and both 2 and 4 door models. I bought these here from another forum member before I received my rack and turns out I don't need them. They have never been...

JK dual swing out rear bumper options?

I just bought one of these a few weeks ago for a STEAL from the seller in Prescott. Search Prescott AZ craigslist and you should find it. Super nice guy. I believe he had 4 jk bumpers left and also a few for land rovers (I think). FYI they will NOT fit a 35" spare how they come from the factory...

I am thinking of of running air lift bags

Great point on the plumbing together versus seperate. My only thought on plumbing them seperate is that my fridge and my gas tank are both on the right side and I get a drop on the right when both are full. Sounds like the way the airlift system works may eleviate that without the hassle of...

I am thinking of of running air lift bags

I was just looking into this after our first week long trip fully loaded in our 07 JKU and think I've decided to go with air bags over something like the Timbren SES due the adjustability of an air bag system. I'm also running the Teraflex 2.5" springs and have the Rancho RS9000 adjustable...

Help with settings on Victron MPPT charge controller

Here's what I came up with after reading the tech specs. Max current charge 14.9 (max is 15 but thought it would be better off lower) absorption voltage 14.7 max absorption time 6-8h float voltage 13.6 Which all seems to line up with the preset I found in there for an AGM battery. The preset...

Help with settings on Victron MPPT charge controller

To add: I thought the alternator would be able to keep the batteries charged up as it's my daily driver and I would use the solar to keep them charged when stationary. Will I need to hook up to a legitimate battery charger once a week or so to maintain these?

Help with settings on Victron MPPT charge controller

Thanks for all the replies It is in a 2007 Jeep Jk. I bought the Genesis dual battery setup and (x2) odyssey 34-PC1500T as that was the standard setup I saw almost everyone running when I did my research. I'm not at all electrical, wiring, or solar literate. I tried to find the charging...

Help with settings on Victron MPPT charge controller

Hello all After a lot of research and getting feedback here, I ended up going with a Genesis dual battery system and installed a solar charge controller (Victron MPPT 75/15 with Bluetooth) to use with a Renogy 100w suitcase solar panel. I plan to use the solar to keep the batteries topped off...

Feedback on my 2nd battery / solar setup

Thanks for the reply Verkstad. I did see a few people mention that a lot of the popular SAE ports like Zamp are reverse wired. I'll keep an eye out for that. In your opinion would it be better to keep it all MC4 connectors? Seemed like it's more complicated to do so with the way those connectors...

Hello all I am putting together a 2nd battery / solar setup for my Jeep JKU and wanted to get some feedback on the system and hopefully answer a few questions I still have. After some input and suggestions from a separate thread in the Jeep section, and a ton of reading I decided to base my...

    JKU 2nd Battery-Solar-Refrigerator-Wiring

Thanks for putting together this well thought out system and write up. Looks awesome. Can you give some more details on how the components are attached to the rack? Is it the JK Unlimited drivers side rack from Springtail? I'm setting up a very similar system now and hadn't even thought of...

Update Ordered an Odyssey PC1500t, an Arb 50qt fridge, a Renogy 100w suitcase solar panel, and a Victron smart solar MPPT charge controller. Dual Battery / Single Battery Advice 2007 JKU

Thanks so much for the feedback. Some great ideas! Any suggestions on the best single battery and a solar package? So far I'm leaning towards this Renogy 100w starter kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BFCNFRM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 and this Odyssey PC1500t...
