Been a long while since I've posted an update. Added insulation inside, old man emu heavy-duty springs, bug net. And rear seat delete for more storage and a refrigerator.

I went with ovrlnd campers myself, had looked at a few of the others but ovrlnd had everything I was looking for, and lots of custom options.

It charges off of just solar panels, I'm going to ground to the neg bus bar until I can find a good spot to ground otherwise.

Nice build, just got my camper from them about 6 weeks ago. Just installed solar power in ours. Not sure if we're going to build anything shelving wise yet, need to get out in it more and see. Be following along for sure.

I posted some pics in my build thread, has a pullout bed, so when its up you have the bed space to move around in. Just enough for my wife and I.

Over the weekend I got the rest of the solar install done. Had to drill into the camper to add an additional 8020 rail. @crolison gave me the details on his control panel for the electronics and I mimicked that. Have upper and lower lights, 2 12v power ports and power to the vent fan.

I have got the solar panel installed, used corrugated plastic under it to keep the heat of the roof from impacting it. At least I read that would help, so 3m vhb taped plastic to the solar panel, then 3m taped it to the roof, then sealed the edges with eternabond tape. Have the battery placed in...

I like them so far, not the same as a true step slider, but work well enough for me. I will end up going OME rear leaf springs, and a level on the front, so between that and 32" tires that I plan I may feel differently at that point. Currently they work great at stock height.

Loving the the fairing you made man. Just picked up an Ovrlnd camper for my Zr2 a few weeks ago. How did you wire the 3rd brake light on the camper? Seen a few different suggestions for that and trying to decide what would be best.
