Yeah I considered it and spoke with Brian at OS, I will lose 50% efficiency of the single cell on each side but rest of panel should be fine. At 320W I’m over built for my needs anyways.

Bought a regular set off eBay,
1. cooked in oven about 10 minutes.
2.separated them
3. Taped off reflective area and painted all chrome flat black
4 removed all old adhesive
5 put back together with silicone caulk

I am doing same as you (slow build) but did the axles first. It really depends on engine but I am doing a 7.3 power stroke with 35's and geared the axles to 4.30's with ARB lockers.

Chris any chance you can detail a bit the front clip swap? Mainly do you fabricate any parts for the early to late conversion? I seem to recall that there might be an issue with fender bolts matching.
