Here is the info from Amazon on the fron water tanks.
.Recpro RV water Tank 10 gal.
I have not installed a water heater yet. There is one filler mounted on the driver side next to my relocated front storage box. The vent for the tanks is up through the generator compartment over to the...
I installed the tank between the swing arms, vertically. That is the long side down the trailer length then the next side vertically. Welded on 4 vertically posts with a metal plate on the bottom.
Sorry to see you go. Although I’m thinking of selling for the same reasons. Climbing up and down the ladder multiple times at night is getting harder for the wife.
Moment arm. The heavy awning far out from the upright overloaded the welds. May be bad welds or just over their design. I mounted my awning right at the end of the 90, less moment arm.
Looks like Habitat will be coming out with their water tank solution for the trailer shortly. At least there is a drawing of it and saying that pre orders will be taken soon.
Here are some photos.

I just purchased some screws that matched the supplied ones. In reality I don't think you need more. The factory ones in the original rails should be enough. The extra rails are primarily there to support and keep the RTT from warping. Along with the extra rails I got extra U brackets to...
I mounted 2 10 gal tanks in n the bottom of the trailer underneath the front compartments and a 9 gal between the axels. Plumbed together with an in demand pump mount d above the driver side swing arm. I have one outlet in the stove compartment and will add a second for a shower.
I have a 4 door wrangler. No issue towing. Interstate, dirt trails, no issues. Load properly, keep your distance and be aware of longer stopping distance and you should be fine. Be aware of the max tow weight of the 2door.
I want the simple route. I got a strut kit from https://habitatoffroad.com/
It includes 4 struts and all the mounting hardware. The instructions are good also. You need to drill holes for the lower mounting brackets. The rest is bolt on. I have the smittybilt RTT XL with the rhino rack 270...
How did you run your electrical wires from the top to the trailer box? I haven't figured out a way to do it without them blowing in the wind while driving.. Thanks.
Nice setup.
