2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

We prefer not to say, as the cool remote areas are getting pretty busy compared to even a few years ago.

Quest for the Perfect Family Tent

I've been a Big Agnes fan for years. Last year, I got our family the new Big Agnes Bunk House 6. We camp a lot, this tent has been great. My kids have room to move around. I'm 6'4" and can stand up with no problems. It's a great tent and fairly easy to setup, I can do it solo...

    Binoculars

I really like my Vortex binos, 10x42 is great. The Vortex Diamondback model is great, but a little high for your price range. ($220 on Amazon), the Vortex Crossfire model might fit your budget ($150 on Amazon).

    Do's and Don'ts

Two-way radios are a blast with my kids. Also, I have metal Tonka trucks from when I was a kid, they go with us on camping trips and the kids love playing with those. Bow & arrows. Bicycles. That's about it. I let the kids get dirty, wet, etc and play. The less the better, typically. I do...

    Rear Shock Suggestions

I’ve had two sets of Bilstein 5100s leak with less than 2 years of use on my 8800 pound Excursion that I use for DD/camping/hunting/exploring...I'm going the Fox route next with external reservoirs. I’ve felt my 5100s get very hot while on rough backroads in the Oregon mountains. Lots of people...

2005 Tundra novice build - "The Rez"

I've had a Craftsman 1/2" drive 25-250 ft. lbs torque wrench for several years, it's always worked perfectly. It does a fine job for a home mechanic and doesn't break the bank.

2005 Tundra novice build - "The Rez"

Nice install! I'm in the process of installing a Yaesu FT-7900R in my Excursion. I wasn't aware of the PanaVise mount brackets, I really like the look! Thinking I might get one for my install. Thanks for the info.

    6.0 Trustworthyness

I have a 2005 Excursion with 6.0 PSD, it's a great engine with proper maintenance and the Motorcraft updates installed on the engine. I just passed 220K miles, it's doing a great job. I had ARP head studs installed by a local shop. I personally installed the updated Motorcraft oil cooler...

    my 2016 RAM Rebel

Sweet truck! I follow the Orion Chronicles YouTube channel thanks to Randy Newberg’s podcast talking about your coolers. I’ve been meaning to order my own Orion cooler for hunting & adventuring, hope to have one for this coming summer. I don’t have any helpful advice, just wanted to say hello!

New (to me) 2002 7.3L F350...ideas on where to start....

Gauges are a must to keep an eye on EGT, oil, trans & coolant temps. Instead of traditional manual gauges, I highly recommend the Edge Insight CTS product, it plugs into your OBDII port and provides much more valuable info from a single screen, also reads check engine codes and helps keeps track...

    Joining the Excursion Club!

I traveled the US for a year in a 2000 Excursion with my wife...we had four bikes standing vertically in the very back of the Excursion, front wheels removed. Another thing I love, I'm tall, 6'4" and I didn't have to lower my saddle to stand my bike vertically in the back...pretty fantastic.

    Delwood - my 1995 F250 build

What a great truck! The OBS Fords are awesome looking for sure and with the 7.3L, you've found a gem! The D60 front axle swap is extremely simple if you ever consider changing out the Dana 50 TTB axle.
