At that price I'd rather buy a 10 year newer Nissan NV with a 5.6 and get the conversion done for 12k. Probably could be under 35k if you shop around for vans. Plus more HP and driver cabin space.

Something I'd suggest is scrolling through the transit forums. It seems the 2015-2017/2018 had a bit of issues and gremlins. Personal vote would be for a Nissan NV as they're bullet proof and way overbuilt. But if the size doesn't work for you I'd suggest the transit next.

Like most Toyota’s it’s bilstein shocks, skid plates, different wheels, slightly bigger tires, LSD rear (locker not an option at the time), and those fancy expensive TRD stickers haha. The color matched flares were standard on the TRD but was an option on other models also.

Yup! I had one in my last van I built which was a gas Nissan NV. Webasto and Espar both make "petrol" models now. They're getting popular with the Ford transit and promaster since most people are getting away from Sprinters.

Gas/diesel are more efficient and will have less connections for leaks (i've installed webasto and propex). Depending on the space involved installing a propane locker inside the van will take up a lot of space. Built in stoves are more of a preference for some campers. I found a lot of people...

I think around 30k is fair. I've seen slightly newer Chevy diesel provans going for around 40-50k so this being older and gas makes sense around 30k.
