    LR3 Key Fobs keep failing

The battery in the LR3 keyfob is rechargeable and recharges while it's in the ignition. Depending on how long the new ones you bought have been sitting on a self, the batteries in them could be dead and not holding a charge, all batteries have a self life used or not. The design of the key is...

    Safari RRC

First project for the RRC was adding sound and heat insulation. It had the original rubber mat for the back that was falling apart and the front end had hardly any. On a longer drives I could feel the heat coming through the transmission tunnel. The large pile of sound deadening! Kind bought...

    Safari RRC

The LT95 gear knob is the best looking Land Rover ever made! I haven't found an aftermarket one for the 5 speed box that looks the same. It's actually really comfortable to drive, not to far to reach from the steering wheel.

    Safari RRC

I thought I might make a build thread for my 1976 Range Rover Classic. I've owned it for about 4 months now, work has been super busy so have only done a few quick trails and drives to work out what works and what doesn't. The previous owner pretty much did everything big but it is what I would...

Thanks, I can’t really take all any credit for it as the previous owner did all the hard work but this is exactly what I would have done to a RRC anyways. I’ve been on the look out for a TD5 Defender for about 6 months but their price has gone crazy with covid tax and all were horrible...

Swivel hubs and oil...

Mine is a 2012 with 102-103 miles on it. I did the 100,000 miles service including gearbox before I left for this trip and saw no signs of leaking. The front and rear cross over pipes were on my list to change but ran out of time before I left. I would say 80-90k miles is a good time to change...

A discussion about Rover pricing....are values really gone this high?

Don’t look at Aussie defender and RRC pricing. Used 2015-2017 Defenders with 50,000km are going for $20-30k more than they were new. In 2016 I was very close to buying a 90, silver with “Black pack”, then I was offered a job in the US and didn’t buy it. If I just had and stuck it in a mates...

And back in its natural habitat. Rear cross over pipe went pop, going up the hills leaving Salt Lake I noticed it pretty quickly, gap tool said temp only went 5-10°f above normal operating temp. It’s sitting at the back of a Indy LR shop in Salt lake to hopefully get fixed tomorrow.
