    Econoline cat converter protection

I used cut down angle iron as L brackets with a hole drilled for the bolts. Welded brackets to the bottom of the frame. Then used nuts on the top side of the bolts so you have to get an arm and a wrench up there to loosen them. Can probably get some more pictures this weekend if you need it.

Suggestion for amber Chase Light that fits in spare tire wheel well

Is amber a requirement? How about a red rear fog light? Have seen several options online in the past. For the work light I would think any led flood light would work great. Probably pretty cheap too. Tons of shapes and sizes are available.

    Any cheapo welder reviews/experience?

I bought the harbor freight titanium unlimited 200. It’s a dual voltage multi process machine. It’s been a couple years and several projects and is still working well. I haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve really only used the mig function. I do fear finding parts for it if something does...

Does this belong here? Rechargeable flashlight recommendations

Check out a site called candlepowerforum. More info than you could ever read. I have used a Streamlight everyday at work for years and years and would recommend the brand. Have personally used the lifetime warranty and been pleased. You will just need to look around and see what there is as the...

    Under body power distribution

I’m looking to add a power distribution block/fuse panel under my van. Supplied by the under body leisure battery bank. It will get mounted out of direct water/mud, unlikely to see deep water crossings etc. Any recommendations for a “waterproof” unit? I live in the PNW and it can stay pretty...

Hella 4000: Free Form vs Euro Beam

I have the Rallye 4000 hid pencil beams and they are insane. Can anyone speak to how the halogen version compares? And does anyone have experience with the 4000 fog pattern? That is what I am currently looking into. I would like some good fog lights for the upcoming winter/ski season.

    Tow hitch upgrade

You don’t always have to assume the worst. It is a manufactured hitch made for an Econoline I assume. Looks professional and like all the other ones but has no sticker any longer so not sure of the make and model. Reinforcement of the hitch is not for towing. My van has stiff springs and...

    Tow hitch upgrade

I have a 97 e350 eb. Looking to reinforce the hitch to limit the flex up and down at the receiver. The cross bar seems to be the area that moves. It seems to twist a little bit and I would like to minimize this. I have the spare mounted under there still so space is limited. Has anyone done...

Pull-out Bike Rack for Center-Aisle Floor plan

That’s a pretty nice design! I like that it’s removable. I also like those rubber clamps. They may work for my bike carrier project. Do they size down to a regular 2.5 mtb tire okay and still remain easy to tighten and undo? would imagine the excess rubber could be trimmed off?

It's kind of like a Revel, but not.

Might not be a bad idea to hint at what business this is to help someone else avoid the trouble. A mistake or 2 is understandable. This sounds ridiculous.
