New Rubicon Gladiator- What should I know?

@montechie thanks for the info on the suspension. Empty, the truck drives amazing. I'm sure we will need the capacity. My two boys and I hit Death Valley and the Mojave several times a year. Four days in the desert with two little kids tends to demand a lot of gear and supplies. My past builds...

New Rubicon Gladiator- What should I know?

Thanks for the tip on the spacer lift. I'm really interested in AEVs dual sport 2.5" lift. We put that lift on a JK years ago and it was AMAZING

New Rubicon Gladiator- What should I know?

We're seriously considering 35s. It seems like upsizing is a no brainer in so many ways. There are a couple of trails that I really like and life will be much easier with a 2" lift and 35s. Thanks for the tip on Asfir skids. I'll look into them.

New Rubicon Gladiator- What should I know?

I also need sliders that sliders that function as steps. My kids can’t get in the truck. Any recommendations or anything I should look for? I recently learned some sliders won’t hold the weight of truck. Made that mistake with my 4Runner and would prefer not to go down that path again. It sucks...

New Rubicon Gladiator- What should I know?

I’m returning to a Jeep after two decades of offroad travel with Toyotas. I loved my Tacoma and 4Runner AND had a chance to try something new. While building the trucks has always been one aspect of the hobby that I loved, I’m at a place in life where time is more limited and I can either build...

CVT Mt. Shasta For Sale in Southern California

My family is outgrowing our faithful Mt. Shasta tent and we are replacing this tent with the next size up. This is a Cascadia Vehicle Tents Mt. Shasta. This is the extended version and includes the annex. This is a solid tent that we use around three times a year, give or take. The cover is...

    Overland Vehicle Systems 270 Awning

I purchased the wrong side awning. My loss is your gain. For sale is a 270 degree awning, passenger side. Unfortunately, for my trailer, I need a driver side. (Rearranging the trailer to accommodate this awning is physically impossible). I've never even had this out of the box. Here's a...

    Florida 4Runner Build

You can’t go wrong with either. Go for whichever you can get a deal on. That said, Dobinsons has a much greater choice of springs

Thinking of a mild 4 runner build

Maybe you don’t mean it, but... it kinda seems like you’re trying to start a pissing match. It’s okay that we might have different experiences. It doesn’t invalidate others’ experiences. Hell, I’ve had different experiences with brands across different platforms. I have found the Prinsu mounting...
