Please post your solution to mounting to the Front Runner. Would be very curious to see your solution. I agree with @gunsandgearnetwork that the hitch is definitely beefy. It attaches to the water port solidly but there is some slop in the receiver itself. Maybe put a shim in it? But its not...

I got one of these from Costco last year and love it. I took it to Yellowstone from WI and kept it on my hitch and it performed flawlessly. I use it to wash my dishes and spray off if necessary. Would like to mount to roof rack soon enough but for I think its a great piece of equipment.

Could you sit behind yourself in the truck for several hours? Say 2-3?

Can somebody provide a comparison of say a Yeti 65 to a Dometic 40? Are they comparable on the internal size and capacity when taking ice into account with the Yeti?
