    SOLD**** 2008 Land Rover LR3 - $9,500 obo - Nashville, TN

We've considered it many times, but I like being able to dump the EAS and fit her in the garage!

I'm not a gear head... would an LR3 be for me?

Agree with this completely. The truck is rarely "broken", but regularly "needs a thing or two".

Missed out on an LR3, now I have the bug. LR3 vs. LR4

We've had our LR3 for almost 6 years and around 60k miles. I love this truck. Actually, I hate this truck. No, no, I definitely love it. This is what owning a Rover is like. It's extremely capable, and a great traveling vehicle, as well as towing vehicle. Things will break, count on it. But it's...

    2005 Lexus LX / 2013 Lexus GX / 2015 4Runner

I do. And it's not just the hp... It's the torque curve, and power delivery. You've got to wring a 4Runner's neck to get it to do anything. With a toyota V8, you just do it. Smoooooothly. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

    2005 Lexus LX / 2013 Lexus GX / 2015 4Runner

I also vote GX. We have a 2004 GX470 and a 2008 LR3. I love them both. Full time 4wd, extremely plush interiors and great off and on road. Plus, big ass, smooth v8's in both. 100 series are great, but are way overpriced, and like mentioned, is a total crap shoot on how well they have been...

An introduction to my new LR3

I also own an LR3, and a GX470. The Rover is more reliable [emoji2369] I like them both a lot though. The GX would be first to go of the two. The Rover is one of the kids... The GX is a fancy used toaster [emoji1] Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

Colorado owners thought on the Schofield Pass Road

I used to live in Gunnison back in the late 90's, and did this road multiple times in a stock 93 XJ with oem sized K01's. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

    LR3 to 3rd gen 4Runner: lateral move or upgrade/downgrade

My GX is a 2004, bought with 135k ish in late 2017. It was a one owner dealer maintained, ATL car. It's a 15 year old SUV. None of the maintenance is surprising. The point is, a Toyota is just a car. Cars get old and need wrenches. Just the same as Rovers ?‍♂️ OP: Get the truck that makes you...

Oh, forgot to add: both front inner CV boots on the GX as well. ;)

    LR3 to 3rd gen 4Runner: lateral move or upgrade/downgrade

haha! Crazy isn't it? I love both of the trucks though, and have no plans to get rid of either of them.

    LR3 to 3rd gen 4Runner: lateral move or upgrade/downgrade

Radiator, battery, brakes, rear driveshaft, replacing crap rear air suspension, hood struts, coolant overflow reservoir, a myriad of coolant hoses, Seat position sensor, various interior trim pieces, wheel bearing, literally every lightbulb in the vehicle. I mean i could go on.... Maintenance...
