    Ford E350 VSS sensors

No idea if it's a different signal but I think it's the same sensor on the outside if I remember mine correctly so it's probably the same. If that's the case I believe it's not the size of the ring but how many teeth it has, tones per revolution. If that's the case even if the 2wd ring didn't...

    Ford E350 VSS sensors

I'm no expert but I put the electric thing in. A few things about it, once programed they work great, once they get packed full of snow in my case the van would default back into first gear. If you get one there's room to mount it in a safe place behind the plastic step thing in the floor, will...

Newbie Van Build - 1997 E150 - MG Radius Setup

I made the same suggestion to someone with a 06 f350. Looked like you flip them and swap sides. Grind the heads off and you can knock the rivets out. Air chisel or a roto hammer set to not spin works good.

    YOLANDA...My Turbine Princess build 03 7.3 E350 pop top 4x4

I was looking to slow down the rack speed but if I read correctly the dually box would speed it up.. You can also just lengthen the arm you have. Weld in the spacing and angle you want, angle cut some grooves for weld to bite into and then just wrap that whole thing in weld to bind it together...

    YOLANDA...My Turbine Princess build 03 7.3 E350 pop top 4x4

Interesting. Have you found any difference in the rack speed (turns to lock) in the different years or models?

Opinions on Block Heater replacement.. 400watt vs 1000 watt

Money aside the hydronic is really the only option but I know a few snow bums where money is the only factor. In that case I wonder the effectiveness of a $100 airtop (hit and miss I'm told but you can return anything to Amazon) running at 100 percent for a few hours with the dog house off and a...

    Axle identification help

So it seems I did the exact same thing as the OP only it took me about 4 years to figure it out. Having it parked next to a IFS chevy with the extra wide front end probably didn't help. To my question that may also help the OP, hopefully this makes sense. Can I buy a 2016ish rear end with the...

    Axle identification help

After reading the above disregard what I wrote, that makes perfect sense.

    Axle identification help

Just a guess but the new rotor looks like it goes on the front. As for years I think they just changed the shock mounts. I'm looking to upgrade to a new axle with the e locker so hopefully someone can correct me if wrong on that.

    2013 E350 door panels on 2004 E-350

I have also been confused about the forum secrets for a while now. Do I understand correctly that no change is needed for the windows to work? I added power doors to my 99 from a unknown year donar. windows worked fine but after days of trying on the locks I gave up and added keyless entry.

    Ford E-Series Rear Shackle Flip

Seems common for van springs. I got a set of 08+ F springs that still need to go in. 8 inches longer in the front so that mount will need to obviously move forward. Back mount from what I can guess is about 3/4 inch longer but I'm thinking the shackle can just lean back a bit. A photo of your...

    Ford E-Series Rear Shackle Flip

Mine are worse right now but yes, those springs are shot. I assume that kit leaves the shackle perfectly straight up but does anyone know if it has to be? Can a be a few degrees off as long as it doesn't bind under full flex?

    37 on stock quigley

I have recommended fire as a solution to many of my remodel clients, good to see someone finally take my advice. I think I read in another thread that you're looking into rear springs. Put in a set of 08+ F springs. You have to move the front mount forward on the frame about 8 inches because...

Burn them. Any torch will get the rubber burning and then they just fall out. You will get pretty harsh black smoke so maybe keep neighbors in mind before doing it.

E350 (Ambo) burning plastic smell in cab... vents?

If I remember correctly last time I went through a bunch of vans at the junk yard before leaving with a only slightly melted plug, seems common. You can also ********** the floor hooks with a hammer to pull the dog house down a bit.

E350 (Ambo) burning plastic smell in cab... vents?

I have melted 3 of the plugs that connect to the fan switch. If the blower motor is old it draws more amps I think. Or it's just a bad connection design. Anything else that's melting should blow a fuse.

1996 Ford Ambulance - AMP light on, and voltage/amperage meter going fubar

I'm going to guess rear ac, if so do not disconnect. Might be able to disconnect support brackets to that hose and flex it out of the way. It's been a year or so but I think I had to rotate mine in the mount to get it to fit out. Definitely not a pull straight up kinda thing.

1996 Ford Ambulance - AMP light on, and voltage/amperage meter going fubar

Mine is a rebuild, I think at some level they're all a rebuild. You can cook the batteries by overcharging but it sounds like you avoided that so far. Standard should be fine. It's more a issue of reserve then how fast you can charge them. Those take about ten minutes to change and can be had...

1996 Ford Ambulance - AMP light on, and voltage/amperage meter going fubar

The alternator only needs to make as many amps as you're using. Just put a standard unit in it, I'm guessing but I think around 130 amps and cheep. Obviously if it's still being used medically and you have a endless budget then put another short lived expensive one back on. Not running that's...
