how about ABS ? im sure older ford dana 44 dont have front ABS sensors.. i know it will light come on when computer dont see pulse from sensors and will turn light on..

Using dodge Dana 44 with factory mounts for long link arms and track bar. For the coilover shocks mount have to fab it up on axle. Similar to this pic. That pic is from Ford Explorer. Hope u all get the idea what I'm plan.

This is what I want to set up. Using upper control arm mount housing for coil over shocks. Probably 8-10" lift! Possible rolling 37-40" tires. Presently 6" lift rough country kit and rolling 315 tires.

Here's 99 chevy suburban LT 1500 Rough county 6" lift, custom front/rear bumpers full 3/8" steel, stock 5.7, overhauled 4L60 trans, auto trac transfer case, 35" A/T tires on black 16x8, stock leather interior with 3rd row seat, portable 12k winch for front/rear mount.

15 years old engine will be fine to tow anything, only well maintained no worry.. Transmission is critical one about towing.. Handle proper way and maintain will do good till 150k+. Mine had overhauled on trans last year but 5.7 still running strong at 172k right now. I do pull '77 old 13ft...

Nice suburban. I love my suburban and been going on for 3 years.. I use harbor frieght solar 45 watts kit, it work well and i use it on my hunting camper. I leave power on so it continue charging battery when i was not using camper so i dont Have to be in darkness at hunt camp. Lol.
