    The old 1999 build thread

Toasty, just curious. What are you running as far as your power steering pump and brake master cylinder? Stock?

241OR Ruby Tcase conversion, input needed

I think as long as such a build is left as un-cluttered and simple as possible, you should be fine. Would you consider a newer style engine swap along the lines of a 6G74?

I would highly recommend against modifying the engine. Not that it’s a bad thing, but for simplifying things when something goes bad in the middle of nowhere. It’s much easier to find factory parts than anything custom.

241OR Ruby Tcase conversion, input needed

I really appreciate your input, I figured I’d ask since you’re the man when it comes to this sort of thing. The 3.15’s aren’t cheap, but I think for ease of installation, and the fact that I can retain the Mitsubishi T-box, the plusses outweigh the negatives. Thanks!

I’m which area of the Tcase is the 2” lift needed most? Is it something that can be done if a section of the floor is cut and modified or would it get in the way of the seat frames and such? I don’t have any back seats in mine

Sounds like with propert differential gearing combined with the Marks4wd 3:15 gears, your desired effect should be achievable for a lot easier

    The old 1999 build thread

I was thinking more along the lines of a hydraulic line diagram to bypass the ABS unit. As far as electrical, I would think all that’s required is to disconnect the unit and remove the fuse right?

    The old 1999 build thread

Any chance you’d have a diagram laying around on how to delete the ABS? Mine has never worked and I’d like to remove the entire system altogether to add an air compressor as well. Thanks!

With that setup, what kind of transfer case work would need to be done. I’d like to go down this road with 37” tires on my 95 SR. Just wondering what kind of freeway speeds I can expect since I still want to be able to drive it around and not be super sluggish. I was tossing around the idea of...

1986 Ford Econoline sliding door lock problem

Hey everyone, my dad has a 1986 Ford Econoline Club Wagon that he’s working on restoring. He’s having a problem with the door lock on the sliding door, it intermittently locks upon closing when pushing the lock tab from the inside. Is there an adjustment for this? Also, what is the proper...
