The table was a hand me down, it’s older not sure who made it but the way it folds up is great. Tongue weight I never checked I just moved cargo around to where it seemed balanced.

They r just bolted to the door and the wall keeps them from moving. I drilled the hole in the bracket short so when I tightened them down it pulled door tight against the wall. If that makes sense? I can take more pix if needed

Trailer build kitchen thoughts. Fridge stays in the Jeep? Sink worth having?

Running water for dishes (we cook big meals) and washing hands etc, has been nice. We keep it simple w a 5 gal container/jug, 12V pump, wall mount faucet and collapsible sinks. Take up little space

    100W Simple Set Up

That’s a good test for cloudy days, I’ll see what it does next overcast day. I tested the fridge at different running temps and outside temps and it averaged 14ah in 24hrs middle summer at home and on the river in the mountains it’s typical much cooler and low humidity. If I had the...

    100W Simple Set Up

Appreciate your info and it makes sense I’m new to Solar but not wiring etc. but my goal was to extend my batteries out longer. After 3 days the batteries were at a place where the fridge low voltage kick off was making me nervous when it would cycle/kick on. I was concerned it would turn its...

    100W Simple Set Up

To follow up it’s floating around 13.8V and 2.5/3 amps at 7:30am sunrise. Around 9am 14V+ and 4-4.5 amps. Being a newb to Solar not sure how great this is but…. from my math if we can get 6-7 hours a day should be worth it. Total investment $230. Hope this info helps other beginners.

I wired it to charge towing, but I always charge once home to full charge. We have a 4 amp NOCO onboard charger when we camp and there’s electricity.

    100W Simple Set Up

We typically go for 3-4 days and the batteries have never went below 50% so 100W should be enough to maintain daytime usage. I know 100w won’t bring them back to full charge, once we get home I hook up a battery charger. Ideally 200W + would be nice but I have no room for extra panels.

    100W Simple Set Up

Thanks again, I have a battery monitor have always kept above 50% The batteries always kept up on 3-4 day trips but want some insurance and not worry about the fridge staying little extra colder or possibly extended the trips if possible. Seems we never have enough time tho

Thanks for the advice on the SAE wires after looking it over I’ve decided to run MC4 cables direct to solar controller. Then put a box on the outside of the trailer to store the cables.
