Is that a gap in length or a gap in height? My double cab has plastic bed rails on the sides and nothing on the front. If a shell were flat all around it would have a small gap in height. I think this could be eliminated by removing the plastic caps.

Auto Tempest works OK, but I think is limited to 500 or 1000 mile radius. Are you checking Lexus (or similar Toyota) forums? I feel like I usually see a lot of project vehicles posted in vehicle-specific forums. But some, like here, also have a section for posting vehicles by non-members.

Just skimmed back through the thread to see if I missed any more info. Right near the launch announcement, Mario said 81 inch clearance with a build similar to my plan. Perhaps this changed a bit from prototype to production. That height would probably work for me. 74 inches probably...

Appreciate the extra effort to measure! I’ve been planning for a while to get a little bubble level for the cab so this could be figured out from the drivers seat. I’d get the bed set up level then look for places in the cab to put the level. If there isn’t a good spot I might stick it down...
