On the roof in a box seems like the worst possible place for a cooler and seems to be really limiting your options. Can't you put other gear in the roof box and the cooler in the truck??

I should say I really like it once its installed. Works well. And I get the "one size doesn't fit all". Just disappointing because they COULD make it that way with a very minor tweak, and probably save some money in manufacturing costs along the way.

Went to install my Trasharoo for the 2nd time yesterday and was reminded what a pain in the balls it is on a truck without a swing away tire carrier. There's just no room between my tire and the door to squeeze my hands in there and connect the buckles, let alone tighten them. A simple redesign...

Thoughts on using a Viair(or similar) compressor by itself with tank for filling up tires? Is it bad to run it for short periods with bo demand for air, basically dead-heading it? I have a PUMA compressor with 2gal tank. Been thinking about divorcing the two and just mounting the compressor...
