    I have seen alot of fully loaded GMC AWD Savana or Chev conversion vans on the net. for some low prices, go for the 2005 era, 5.3 will get you a lot of good miles. AWD goes through a lot of snow, sand and dirt, a locker rear end is a bonus

    REALLY!!! , you do not buy a great van like this or any full size van and worry about fuel mileage.

    I have 242,000 miles on my 2005 5.3 GMC Savana full boat conversion van with all options, bought with 43,000 have had it 14 years. no trans problems, or engine!! Front diff. has been rebuilt TWICE-I drive it hard Runs like it was new Just take care of them and they will last.

    Had our EPOXY garage floor done in Wisconsin done last year, had spalling and cracks that were fixed also, no one day installation , took two days, looks new and went through salt and winter, no problems $2,600 dollars later also. You pay for what you get too!!!

    I have a AWD Savana, Love it also, BUT- I have towed car trailers w/car, moving trailer from down south, and small utility trailer all over. No problems with Trans yet!! with 239,000 miles on Van. Van does have towing package also.
