Port Renfrew Winter 2022 Camping Trip

Wow, thanks for posting your trip and the awesome photos. Brings back memories. Back in 94' my Dad and I back packed the West Coast Trail, starting at Port Renfrew in May right after the trail was opened for the season (ie before at least one rope bridge had been rebuilt). Nothing quite like...

1999 Suburban 4x4 with interior camper build, solar, rear kitchen and Rough Country lift - CA, $19,000

Feel like the title should include "Did it for the gram". Brush guard (damage multiplier) and side steps, scream camping versus overlanding IMO.

    Delica Pros /Cons

Slippery slope, don’t drink the koolaid. Also if you live in California getting it legal can be expensive or not. End of DV trip in early November

    2004 Tundra Adventure Cab - Build/Adventure Thread

Yep x2, I called him up and in a short time ordered a bumper for my 06’ DC. He was pretty busy, so since I wasn’t in a rush picked it up 2 months later when I was passing through his area.

Searching for source of fuel injection fusible link, blowing.

Fuel Injection fusible link blowing? So while this happened a couple times over the last year and a half replacing the fusible link with a new 20amp would fix it. Today while running errands it blew again. Being about 5 miles from home and not having any links with me I pulled the 30A from...

Diagram of what springs in valve body (trans)

Howdy Toasty, did you get a chance to ask Ernest? Also curious if he uses trans assembly grease to hold the accumulators up in the trans as you re-install the accumulators?

Diagram of what springs in valve body (trans)

1998 Montero 3.5 with AT. Anyone have a valve body diagram or list of the OEM spring colors that go in the accumulators above the valve body? When I was under the car removing the valve body, three accumulators (#2,3,4) fell out on to the ground scattering the springs. Waiting for the two...

Best practices for removing trans pan Gen 2-2.5 Montero?

Removed all the bolts including theb3 hidden by the cross member and yoke. Not a whole lot of area(s) where you can get a putty knife between the pan and trans to split the two. Tried tapping on the pan all around with a dead blow mallet but didn't do anything. Not sure if I should just put a...

Tundra gen 1, single piece fender flare cutting.

Port installed? Weird, yeah when I was communicating over the internet with the fabricator who built the bumper, kept asking me if I had aftermarket flares since he hadn't seen single piece ones.
