LR3/LR4 Rhino OX hitch weld failures

I think, I recall another member doing exactly that in pictures they posted here and actually meant to ask them about it. However it seems the pictures have been removed before I could do so. @gregV , was it your LR3 I am thinking of? (If not, my bad, but I do like your build!) ~Tyler

WTB Rear Tire Carrier and/or Rear Jerry Can Holder - Land Rover LR3

Hey @gabrielef did you end up going with any specific option for tire carrier? @03Evan , How has the Terrafirma held up over the last year or so that you have had it? I am currently deciding between the TF or a TR bumper and modifying it similar to how @Victory_Overland has. My biggest hold...

LR3 - Control Arm and Bushing Replacement

Afternoon Everyone, So I am going to preface my below question with the following. I have dug through many discussion forums, videos, and threads on EP(including my own) without finding much pertinent information. My LR3, affectionately named Lux, is on year 13 with ~130k and in need of arms...

    New Defender News

That was the other thought or method that I had come to on this. It just seems drastically more intensive. Because that would mean lowering the entire engine/trans/diff and adjusting all the ancillaries; intake, hoses, wires, etc. I have found multiple posts/photos showing the primary items...

    New Defender News

So I figured based on @naks post above, that the subframe lift by J Auston Fab would get some more conversation than it has thus far. Since it hasn't and I have curiosity questions, see my deeper dive below. Firstly, regardless of concerns, this lift looks good. Personally I wouldn't put 35s...

SOLD - LR3 Carling Switch Panel

Hey man, I am interested in the switch panel. Do you have the two USB sockets, if so would you be willing to include for an additional cost? Thanks, Tyler

Best quality replacement LR3/4 front lower control arms

lll Fair enough. Looking back through my receipts and emails, I price matched the arms at about ~$270 each which made it more reasonable. Also, the MOOG or Mevotech option in the below link may be worth considering. Going through my old thread and comparing on Rock Auto, it seems the...

Best quality replacement LR3/4 front lower control arms

Hey Man, I have an '08 LR3 and used the below arms back in late 2016. Have about 70k on them currently. Do note that these are Range Rover Sport (RRS) arms which are the same but supposedly use heavier duty bushings and are used in some armored LR3/LR4's used in the UK (if I remember...

    Cutting the Fat. Bumpers???

Ah... makes sense now. I remember reading about that on @Victory_Overland 's build thread. Agreed, seems like the latches were an after (after a few beers) thought. Looks like I may need to touch base with Victory and see about modifying. Mine has the same style latches he put on his. How have...

    Cutting the Fat. Bumpers???

It's one of these rotary style latches (links below), super easy to open/close. It does not hold as tight as I would like it to, there is a little play, but I believe that can be adjusted. Just have to be careful opening because the gas strut is the only thing that stops it. One thing I would...

    Cutting the Fat. Bumpers???

It is one of the original Voyager Swingouts. It is has some design flaws in my opinion, but could be fixed if you (or a buddy) has some welding ability. I don’t have one of it open currently, but can get one if you want.

    Cutting the Fat. Bumpers???

@TexasTJ where are you located in Texas? I am still interested in this and make quarterly trips to Dallas. Could trade you bumper, flares, and my tire carrier (if interested). It definitely needs some updating, but could be done for WAY under the Terrafirma cost. Let me know your thoughts. ~Tyler

    New Defender News

@Corgi_express, since you are one of the very few people in this thread to actually have the new Defender currently I have a question for ya. With the 2nd row folded down, is there enough floor space (length) to sleep comfortably? Or even two? For me it is a legitimate point to check for me as I...

Am I Allowed to Post a Link to an Outside Website With a L.R. For Sale?

Proper 'form' would be to list it here. You could also add that the listing link to this post (same as I just did) or in another post under LR. You shouldn't get much (if any) flack about it, especially since you asked beforehand. What is being sold out of curiosity?

    Aqualu - Aluminum Defender Bodies

Hey everybody, Had not seen anyone start a thread on this topic. Hard Body 4x4 (aka Aqualu) has recently come out with a aluminum reproduction 110 and a 90 coming soon supposedly. I have not done much (any) real research on them, but I have seen the company for a while as they produce a TON of...

    INEOS Grenadier

.....or rename 'Land Rover' forum to 'Temperamental European Vehicles' err... 'European Vehicles' and add the 'G-Wagen' forum to it. You know, since 'G-Wagen' has a 1/10th the amount of messages as this forum. Then by de-facto Ineos can stay right here!!
