    2008 Sportsmobile RB50 on E350 Quigley 4x4 - $45k - $44k now

We have been in Florida for the winter in a condo rental, but will be home starting this weekend. If anyone is interested in a video tour, let me know. I have a couple of people that have shown some interest, but we'll see. A couple more pictures:

    2008 Sportsmobile RB50 on E350 Quigley 4x4 - $45k - $44k now

Price drop from 45k to 44k to bump the post up. And, to find a buyer.

    2008 Sportsmobile RB50 on E350 Quigley 4x4 - $45k - $44k now

Dropping the price to $44k to bump the add. New rig on the way, so let's see if this seems reasonable. DM if interested. I also posted this on the SMB Forum Located in Indiana, 190,000 miles I put these pictures together last year when we were looking at a new Field Van from Fresno, CA. We...

    Using an ipad with cellular

If you have an app that downloads the maps ahead of time, the iPhone or iPad will both work fine for hiking or driving. Still miss the old Garmin app that downloaded all the maps to my phone and iPad. It was my favorite driving app.

4x4 Truck Chassis - Hard Side - Factory build? Market not paying attention or just me?

This Entegra accolade 29T with no slide outs looks a little interesting, but it's still a foot wider than it needs to be. They tried to make it look off roady by putting a beefy bumper on it. Might be good if you wanted to just tow a jeep behind it though. Priced around $240 or so I think. We...

Going from prototype to full production must not be easy for new Integrated Overland Campers

The development of some of the newly announced rigs seems to be taking quite a long time. Truckhouse BCR, Supertramp Megatron, StoryTeller Hilt, 27North Rexrover, and several others all seem like good ideas, but haven't taken off yet. Maybe it's due to the high cost of the units and people...

No Slide In Campers in F350 Tremor?

I was just looking at the window stick on the F350 SRW 4x4 Lariat with a crew cab and long bed. It showed 12,000 GVWR on the sticker. I know the Ford website doesn't actually show GVWR. Just the restrictions for each axle.

No Slide In Campers in F350 Tremor?

I haven't done the research, but the two trucks I was looking at were both gas powered F350s with Lariat packages. The Tremor only had a GVWR of 10,300 and the non Tremor had a GVWR of 12,000. Seemed like quite a difference to me.

No Slide In Campers in F350 Tremor?

I thought it was interesting that the GVWR for the Tremor was 10,300 and the regular Lariat next to it had a GVWR of 12,000 also. I wondered about the lifted suspension also causing concerns by Ford about raising the center of gravity with a camper installed.

No Slide In Campers in F350 Tremor?

I was looking at a truck at the local Ford dealer and noticed this page in the glove box. It was a 2024 F350 Tremor with the 7.3 gas motor.

    Winnebago EKKO

Yeah, now that I think about it still had a bunch of the protective plastic on the rig that probably was from delivery.

    Winnebago EKKO

OK, we actually got to drive one of the Sprinter Ekko units last week. It was at a La Mesa dealer in Stuart FL. Not sure whether it is really a production unit, or one of the prototypes, but the dealer offered to sell it to us for $178,000. Had about 1,500 miles on the ODO. Overall, it looks a...

    Unicat/Ram 5500 on Youtube - 22 minutes long

FWIW, there is another thread about the same vehicle here: https://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/unicat-brilliant-smaller-for-class-5-chassis-4x4-dodge-gm-ford-6x6-gwagons-toyota.242296/

Unicat Brilliant "smaller" for class 5 chassis (4x4 Dodge/GM/Ford-6x6 Gwagons/Toyota)

Not a big fan of the rear entry. And timing wise, I probably won't live long enough to be able to get one. Ha.

Well, it looks like it was just enough to make it level front to rear.
