We have had a XT225 for many years now. Everyone likes it. The only problem is that the suspension is too soft now for most of us, and I can't justify spending $1500 on a $2000 bike.
Saw another one closer at Northstar (Tahoe). It's one of the RCs. That wiper is absolutely ridiculous and I doubt it's going to be very efficient in a snowstorm.
We're contemplating a 2-3 weeks last minute trip to Madagascar in December. We're just starting to looking into this now.
Any recommendation on a car rental company? Any place not to be missed knowing we want to go hiking?

The next morning we headed out to the most eastern point in America (or something along those lines...)
And from there we went over to do the "Irish Loop". It started raining a lot which made the scenery especially eery. It's a region I would love to go back to and explore more...
