The KL cherokee has low range and a locker in the trailhawk version. They are very capable vehicles. My wife had one and it was dead reliable, got pretty decent mpg, and was fun to drive. I actually really miss that vehicle.

I've got a 2014 2500 with 6.4, 3.73 gears and 35's. I average around 13-14 but like you mine is capable of getting 18 on a long trip if I keep my foot out of it. The 6.4 really is a great motor and fairly economical for a big block v8.

I will say the 6.4 likes to rev. It makes most of its power from about 3k on but you can definitely feel the power and touque when it hits 3k. It's a good engine.
