I haven't tracked it too closely, but I imagine its possible to get close to 200mi out of each tank(19gal front, 18gal rear) so I'd estimate 350-400 miles is doable.
I know there is a little love for the older Fords on this forum, so I figured it was worth posting this up to cast a bit broader of a net, as I only have it listed locally on Craigslist... This thing is just reliable, and bulletproof. While not the most fuel efficient, it'll get you there...
Here's another similar one.... Looks like they 6.0 didn't get the "bulletproof" treatment in time, but for the price you could get it back on the road!

There have been a few great deals locally lately... A really nice cutaway box (GMC) last week for only $24k with under 40k miles and a nicely insulated box, and today this popped up.... Looks like a great foundation!!!!
Not mine, but worth passing along...
These both seem like decent deals could be had, and would make for great starts on a project. High mileage on the van but for $23k might be worth it.... No affiliation, just spotted both this morning....

Great reply gophere, I too have been looking at adding this option but there really haven't been any photos posted or reviews out there yet. I do kind of wish that it was reversible in orientation, meaning you could have the entry door oriented towards either the front or back of the vehicle...
Haven't been on the site in a while, but just wanted to say how perfect this truck is. Simple and effective!
I just recently got rid of my XJ and plan on getting a white Regular Cab Tacoma as the next rig. Might swing for the 2011 since they are offering the bucket seats again.
At the widest(middle ways up the can) it's just a touch under 14", but at the bottom and top it's about 13 1/2". You can kind of see how they "bulge" out a little. 6" deep, and 18 1/2" tall.
I don't have a ton of input, as I myself am just looking into getting a Tacoma. But here are a couple of helpful sites that I've found...

So I've been really kicking around the idea of getting a new rig(thinkin' brand new Tacoma). If that all works itself out in time to sign up for this I'm definitely in. It'd be stupid not to partake, seeing as it so close to home for me. I too would need lots of "brushing up" on my navigation...
I've used the camo-clad stuff on my hunting rifles before. Wrapped the barrels and scopes with it to break up the outline of them when in the field. Works great, removes pretty easily without leaving a mess, and is really tough stuff!
Not too familiar with Google maps and sharing "my maps"... try this link though.
