Demello Sliders for 5th Gen TA 4Runner with KDSS

We ordered these from Demello in bare steel and had a local shop powder coat them semigloss black, then Line-x'ed the outer bars (~$450 for the powder coating and line-x alone). We installed the drivers side and decided they were overkill for my wife's rig. You're to gain in this deal- they're...

My Tacoma has a similar sound coming from it periodically after the supercharger install- idk what it is either...

Aluminess Bumpers and Storage Boxes photo shoot....

I love the Aluminess products as well- tough and well built. It's interesting to see how much we all have in common- I have seen your SMB on the forum there and you have a Tacoma as well. I guess it's a tight group!

Roof rack slide out shower, rest room, changing room ideas wanted

Yakima makes kayak loading bars that do slide into their bars that might work. We have them on our 4 runner and they're pretty stout. They'll hold the weight of a big 2 man kayak and hang out at least 3 ft or so- just a thought.

    OME Nitro Shock

I recently changed my front struts out to the 9000's and went ahead and added new 886's to the front of my '06. The ride is so much smoother now, as a matter of fact I had the symptoms listed before I changed them out to the 9000's. speed bumps and cracks in the pavement I used to avoid and...

    885 vs 886

I'd go with 886's as well- they'll be stiff but will soften up with time and weight. The 885's will definately sag.

    Which bike?

Not crazy off road stuff- mostly gravel, maybe some mild jeep trails, etc.

    Which bike?

I have experience with Jeeps, Tacomas, Sportsmobiles, etc but I have an itch for an adventure bike. I have researched the BMW r1200 GSA and all sounds perfect but I'm wanting to glean some 411 from the locals. I'm 6'4", 215#, road 60%, gravel and White rim-ish stuff 40% of the time, money less...

    1200GSA maintainence costs?

Actually it's the GSA I'm looking into. I sat on a '08 GSA and while it's big it didn't feel too big (6'4, 215# here). I'll ride 60% paved, 40% gravel (white rim-ish at craziest) so I think it'll be fine as far as size goes.

    1200GSA maintainence costs?

The yamaha does look nice- I'll have to research it more. I doubt the gs is "over" though, just more out there now.

    1200GSA maintainence costs?

Makes sense and thanks for your input. I guess more of what I was inquiring about is the 1200gsa's dependability. I haven't read about any nickel and dime stuff going wrong with them- is this the consensus?

    1200GSA maintainence costs?

Thinking about buying one this year and in researching I hear about it's cost to maintain. Is it excessive?

    Our new SMB...

They were made by "Raingler nets and grips"- I sent them the measurements and they made the panels. They are the company that made all the netting in the back of our rig. Great stuff...
