You can get armor plating for the tank from a couple aftermarket comanies, but it still looks awkward hanging there.

That GM DEF tank location is a deal breaker for me.

Anyone have one yet? May be too early for owner reviews. I like the fact they put weight savings from aluminum body into stronger boxed frame. Aluminum bed also thicker than 1/2 ton's. Some interesting technology available for towing and safety.

It would fit 8ft box if they changed the over hang design for 8ft. Still like this Tc as an option paired with a 1 ton srw 4x4 short box. Leaning towards 17 or 18 f350 supercab srw 4x4.

The new 820 is out, bigger tanks and double propane, slight change to dinette and access to bed. . The 800 is available for around $20000 at various dealers.
