Hardbody Camper Shells and Slide In Campers

The auto's are not nearly as robust as the manual's. That being said...some people manage to get by with them.

Hardbody Camper Shells and Slide In Campers

I wouldn't necessarily let a KA24E (4 cylinder) deter you from the truck. I've owned more than most of them...both turbo and n/a in an s chassis. I would take whichever rig was in better shape overall, and price point. Idler arm brace and 31's (stock size option on the D21 and WD21) will get...

Hardbody Camper Shells and Slide In Campers

The 4 cylinder if it were me would need to be re-geared if you plan to do much highway travel, unless it's a really lightweight camper. (also dependent on tire size chosen) The VG30E doesn't do that bad on gas. It doesn't have much more HP than the KA, but it does have additional torque that...

    Rugged food sealer?

The FVB bags aren't bad. I prefer the Cabelas house brand or Vacmaster. The Foodsaver bags I've never liked and they are one of the more expensive ones. You typically get more for your money buying pre-sized bags vs the rolls if you find you use a particular size a great deal. (What I do...

    Rugged food sealer?

All non-commercial units are imported for pretty much every manufacturer. The higher end ones have always used Italian pumps but that may have shifted anymore.

    Rugged food sealer?

Cabela's units have always been rebadged Weston units which is a much more reputable builder than Foodsaver. I have a Ary Vacmaster similar to a Weston unit and do thousands of lbs of fish a year. In the heat of summer outside I can overheat any of them but in the house I can do bag after bag...

That looks like it was popped out of the mold he has. If it did it wouldn't be "that difficult" to kick out another. Update: actually clicked the link & it's not...just the plug for it. I'd have to see the mold to tell you what I thought Mike.

    EarthRoamer XV-JP "Northwest Edition"

The "mold" appears to be an 1/8" thick CSM (chopped strand mat) replica of the roof. CSM is used due it's ability to conform to almost any shape but it's lacks a lot of rigidity. Woven roving & other weave types are used to reinforce it to add structural integrity based on direction of...

    EarthRoamer XV-JP "Northwest Edition"

Unset gelcoat could've been kicked with a heater & sanded down to re-coat. That sounds like hogwash to me. If you don't have a heated environment or know how to work around it...you have no business working with glass/gelcoat in the winter. Mold looks to be all CSM. Definitely will need some...

Keep a backup sensor with you if your gonna run the Duralast or any other non-OEM crank or cam sensor. Those are the only sensors I always recommend OEM.

Liquid & suction vacuum sealers are not good bed buddies. Just as an FYI
