What are the BEST pop-up campers???

Beefed-up pop-ups intrigue me, seems like a worthy candidate as I continue to dwell about getting a trailer. If anyone knows, based on experience, of reliable and solid pop-ups, please share your thoughts. A few things I'm specifically interested in: doesn't leak fast to deploy and fast to...

    AZ - '92 FJ80, 154K miles, 3X locked, ready to go!

SOLD SOLD SOLD Selling my '92, rarely driven at this point (<750 miles since Nov. 2016 elk hunt in Flagstaff). Trips to our cabin up north (where I keep this 75% of the time) have been rapidly decreasing as our kids get older and have lives of their own. Four cars isn't ideal and I've also got...

I'm trying to locate a replacement bag for my US-passenger (RH) side Foxwing awning. I've found one for LHS awnings here but so far no luck with an RHS equivalent. Anyone know of a source? thx...

    Haulmark Flex - thoughts?

Added a poll above.... I saw one of these today in a parking lot on my way home. Spent a few minutes looking at it, appears to be a well made little unit. Axle and wheel/tire swap and off you go with your overland trailer (don't know if it'd support an RTT or not). Anyone care to comment...

1943 Bantam (?) for sale- NOT MINE, New River (outside Phx), AZ

No affiliation, just sharing what I came across without having left the couch.....it's on the other side of town so not close enough to me to go give it a look, FYI. Looks like it might be in good enough shape to get someone started if they wanted a project -...

FYI - Jumping Jack Canvas Tents - reduced price for "X-Outs"....

If you're a golfer, you should know what an "x out" is......No affiliation, forwarding in case anyone has been contemplating replacing their JJ canvas tent (excluding the frame, bed material, etc.). After doing the usual Craigslist browsing, I came across a JJ sans tent setup entirely. I...

Cargo Bags or Cargo Box.....do you know?

A quest for my own unicorn it seems but here's what I'm after, hoping some of the ExPoExperts have a recommendation....or two: used to house miscellaneous camping gear, snowboard equipment, and most often my porta-boat items (seats, transom, life vests, wheels) - would NEVER see anything > 50#...

Turbo Tent owners - can the rainfly be left clipped in place?

To cut down on the rainfly install time, can it simply be left clipped in place and stowed with it in more of a ready-state? Or is it absolutely necessary to keep separated (meaning you can't easily set it back up with the rainfly already attached)? Kicking tires and exploring ideas for a new...

DIY Hannibal - pics or "how to" please....

I shot Yaro a PM about his post here, hoping he'll respond. In any event, does ANYONE have a legitimate DIY plan to do what he did? His, albeit there's not much visually to go by, sure looks to be a very good interpretation of the Hannibal which I'd love to emulate. Suggestions appreciated...

Patio-style awnings on a roof rack?

In concept, I like the free-standing, cantilevered design (being able to relocate your vehicle after the awning is up - slowly - is a nice option) and they're pretty quick to deploy and retract. There's probably good reason why these aren't found in abundance on any of our rigs but......anyone...

    X-Post: Project Cheetos...to re-gear or not to re-gear my 3FE 80?

Asking the same Q here as I did over on Mud, just trying to get some data points before I "pull the proverbial trigger", thx everyone. Goal - noticeably improved freeway merging, freeway travel (maintained speed) and not as much downshifting during hill climbs on long treks when getting out of...
