I did hot wire it to the dome light however; it comes on a quick disconnect and am able to use the supplied 12v plug in the back of the jeep as well. I wired in a second 12v outlet in the back for my ARB fridge.

I tend to leave mine in there. During the summer I will take it out as my bike tends to be my DD at that point. I do need to eventually hard wire it though. I wired in some thicker gauge wire to run it from the battery vs the 12v back there since I was experiencing voltage drop and my cutoff...
