I couldn't agree more. Having gone through a "build", I understand the enormous amount of labour involved, as well as the R&D aspect. I based mine on an ATW bus, and can in no way match the quality of build they have acheived. All up costs for my finished rig came to $100k AUS, and considering...

Mine comes in a tad under 3.1m.....I've put a sticker on the windscreen as a reminder.....arbitrarily chose 3300 as a "safe" height....all will depend on dips etc.

We have an Airhead unit in our camper...very happy with it, the liquids bottle is easy to access and empty, a simple matter of loosening 2 wingnuts and pulling out. No mess or spillage.

Tyres are Kumho 285/70 R19.5 KRD 02. I've nothing to compare them to so cannot comment on relative performance.

There our son made a fuel tank and some lockers, then off further North to Cooktown, finally settling in at Lakefield NP for a few days.
