Not locking, but putting a standard dually-style rigid inflation chuck on a 2’ pipe will cure the bending over. I still have a locking chuck but gave up on it for the same reasons and now just use the dually style or make my kids do it.

I’m going to also vote machine shop. Putting that in a lathe should let you cut the weld on that sprocket and remove it. You might waste the sprocket and replace it too. No matter what this wont be a fun or clean repair.

I’m going to guess you’re in bad master cylinder territory. You have a good enough seal to push fluid with open bleeders, but once the pressure starts to build, it blows back pst the master cylinder seal and goes nowhere.

If driver controlled, you shouldn’t also need locking hubs. I would still avoid them in a rig that heavy.

I would verify the meaning of that DCDL. Is it a locking differential, or just a center disconnect lock? If the second, that is where you choose against manual hubs or DCDL. Personally, I would go for solid hubs (aka drive flanges) not lockable, as rotating the front end keeps things happily...

I would guess that fuel tank and grey/black tank placement has something to do with it. Clean water can be easily pumped to the use point, but drains are usually gravity devices.

Agreed! 3/4x9 flattened is a nice size because bungee hooks and even quite a few ratchet straps will easily engage it. It makes tying stuff down really easy. I use a few sheets a year for all sorts of projects.

I haven’t, but putting a metal detector against the wall might tell you a lot. Also, if you have access to a FLIR / other thermal camera, putting a heat source inside and taking pictures on a cold night could also be very informative.
