Mitsubishi Fuso FG 4x4 tire options for stock rims

I just replaced the tyres on mine and there wasn't much choice here in Aus. Ended up with 7.50R16 Blacklion tyres, the rolling diameter and load rating both greater than the previous Dunlop tyres. Mine is 4300kg (9460lb) rear axle so that limited the choices also.

Mitsubishi T25/TD05 flange is different to Standard T25 flange, a quick google should bring up the actual dimensions and bolt pattern.

I haven't done anything further. The coolant temperature sensor is the next on the list as it goes great from cold and seems to get worse with heat.

4D34 seeking tips on cleaning Injection pump gauze filter

Yep the gauze is in the one as PK mentioned and also in the top right hand one with the other pipe also. The one you have undone is prone to leak so check it after you tighten it all back up. Id be emptying a tonne more degreaser on all of that before undoing anything further too.

    4d34 turbo advice needed

Had some time to look at my turbo today whilst it is all rain and no work, the OEM turbo as fitted to my 3.9 is a ME015065. That part number lists the turbo as a MITSUBISHI TURBO TD05H-14G-12 That's a 12cm turbine housing according to the part number, but I'm sure its supposed to be a 10cm...

    4d34 turbo advice needed

There are a lot of people using the Big 16G TD05H with 6cm housing on TD42 Nissan diesel engines that make good power/torque with a nice early spool up, I don't see why that spec wouldn't work well on the canters 3.9L UFI in Western Aus might be able to offer some advice as they do a lot with...

    FG649 down on power, slow

There was no restriction or pickup issues and the tank is spotless inside. There must be a pinhole in the hard line somewhere?? With the pick up bypassed it runs much smoother but no noticeable performance has returned. Just to add another problem the brand new genuine Bosch hand primer I...

    FG649 down on power, slow

Talking to myself here but found the problem is the fuel pickup in the tank itself. Bypassed the pickup in the tank by putting a fuel line straight in to the tank via the filler neck and there are no air bubbles at all so now I have to find where the air is entering.

Replaced the lift pump primer and it made no difference to the amount of air in the lines. Back to the drawing board

    FG649 down on power, slow

Finally got a chance to check things further, have today fitted clear fuel lines and as expected there is air in the lines both feed and return. I can see some wetness all around the lift pump area so I have cleaned it all up to try and determine where it is coming from. In the mean time I...

    Isuzu vs Canter

RFS bloke told me the reason they changed to Isuzu was the Fuso model had no low range available at the time they started updating vehicles. I'm not up to date on what model that was but that was his info.

Thanks gait, I guess that part is working fine then :) Going to test coolant temp sensor next, once i get a chance to stick my head in the engine bay and find it.

    FG649 down on power, slow

Does anyone know if it should have a high idle on cold start? It starts up right away without the engine even needing to do a rotation and idles at ~900 rpm from stone cold even with the current temp of 0-2 degrees celsius here at the moment. TIA

    FG649 down on power, slow

Not as yet, it is on the list just need enough down time to do it. Only 130k km's on the engine it 'shouldnt' be an issue but is obviously possible.

    FG649 down on power, slow

It revs, drives and does everything fine its just noticeably slower than it was. Wastegate connected = 10psi Boost controller on and dialled up = 10psi Wastegate hose disconnected and blocked on compressor cover = 10psi although it hit 12psi in 5th gear a few times but goes back to 10 once it...

    FG649 down on power, slow

Its winter here unkamonkey, the sky should be the boost limit :) I believe it should hit 15-16psi then the pop off valve on the intake manifold will open. The wastegate is closed and i am running no hose to it Ive driven with the air box removed, next chance i get to work on it i might just...
