Request: pics/info of your 2009-2014 F150 Supercrew builds

Aah. Nothing wrong with a trip! I still have not run up the Dalton. I want to! I’ve done plenty of oilfield work up there but always flew. As for my tires...we’ll since I run mostly highway I was trying to end the summer with that set (they had ~50K on them). Took a massive rock through the...

A what should I buy poll.

It’s all go to depend on what you feel comfortable in. We had a base model work truck that had the basic seats that only had four adjustments. My truck is maxed for options and I’ve got the ten way power seats and had a much more comfortable driving position in my truck. Plus more of the comfort...

Alaska has a lot to offer. I’m originally front MT, so it’s close but Alaska wins. Came up in ‘06 and never left. It’s true for a lot that come up here, and many come back. Put it on your short list, it might happen! Have had two get stationed elsewhere to be scheduled to come back. So it is a...

Haha! Another EcoBoost convert! I’ve got a ‘13 FX4 Crew Short Bed. Mostly appearance items and two motor bolt on parts (CAI, Throttle Body). I need the lighting for running at night in Alaska (I’ve been involved with two moose strikes) and the cap for dogs. With the added lights I’m pushing...

    Project "Autonomous" F-350

We're you thinking a flat bed that it would slide onto, or have rails that each would slide into? I know it was just the "what if" file, but that's where my brain went...haha. It's been neat to follow your progress and see your amazing photography. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone 7 using...

It's 50/50 on wether they'll ride over the hood of a full size truck. And the moose are big up here. I can't tell you how many I missed until I finally nailed one. I've been involved with two. Hit one in my personal vehicle and was treating a patient in the back of the ambulance when we hit...

I would expect it to take most of the impact against a moose or caribou with minor damage to my truck! They show where Ken individual hit a horse and the truck survived mostly intact. Fenders, grill and hood needed to be replaced. Maybe some other minor components but the truck appeared fixable...

It's made by Arc Rite Industries out of Del Rio, TX. I've been very pleased. As far as I know, I'm the only one in Alaska with one! Haha. They run about $700-800 for the F150. They also make headache racks and steps and are not afraid to think outside of the box! They build a guard for a late...
