    Caterham Brutus concept

Looks pretty but its over 500 pounds and has very little suspension travel. I'm betting a ten year old 125 cc two stroke will out perform the Brutus. They should have made it two wheel drive to compete with the Rokon.

New Fat Bike and a beer

Lucas made electric bikes in the early 1800's and that's why bicycles now have pedals.

    Noomad dual front wheel conversion

You'll hit a lot more pot holes with three wheels. It looks like a great way to carry a golf bag.

New Fat Bike and a beer

As a non-bike rider, I have to ask how do you ride back up the mountain? I've seen Mongoose single speed fat bikes at Walmart for around $200. I'd like to have a fat bike with a 125 cc engine on it for the trips back up hill.

    Samurai MPG?

My tin top got 30mpg with 205/70X15's. It gets 28mpg with 235/75X15's. My soft top gets 25mpg with 235/75X15's. Both have stock 1300 cc engines and original gearing. The tin top would run a little over 70mph with the small tires, it will just barely run 60mph with the 235's (GPS speeds).

What is wrong with this picture? - warning, possibly offensive content

Here's what I noticed the Jeep is missing: KTM 950 on the front bumper beautiful bikini clad young lady in the front passenger's seat holding his beer a large dog in the rear seat $1000 worth of driving lights on the luggage rack six jerry cans of fuel and 40 or 50 adventure stickers.

Series 3 "barn find", Savannah GA

" From the looks of this trailer park, I doubt it'd be hard to convince the owner to let go of it." Don't get your hopes up. From the looks of the Land Rover, the owner knows what it is. Clean, new tires, Land Rover in the background, etc...

    Hi-Lift First Responder Jack

I hope it's self lubricating. My Hi-Lift never works without liberal amounts of some kind of slippery liquid applied to the moving parts. Twenty years ago when I was volunteering for everything (Firefighter, LEO, rescue) I used my Hi-Lift pretty often. We used it for all the regular stuff...

    4cyl Wrangler MPG?

Keep the Land Rover for pulling the boat and get a $1500 Suzuki Samurai for everything else. The Samurai will easily get 25 mpg, cheaper insurance/taxes, and it's fun to drive. A slightly modified Samurai with 1.6 engine, air conditioning, and 31 inch tires would be the cat's (car's) meow.

Very cool trailer build out of a Montero.

"Cool hay difficult that will be register at local DMW (Instead build eye drop )" Being a Southerner, I feel I'm qualified to translate this phrase. I like your trailer. It will be difficult to get a vehicle identification number from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Perhaps you should have...

    Samurai as Daily Driver?

I got an '88 Samurai December 1, 2010 for $1300. I had to work on it in the previous owner's driveway just to get it home. I put new tires on it the next day. After two days of ownership I had to replace the timing belt. Two weeks later, I had to replace the alternator (GM one wire...

    Ideal tire size/gear ratio?

I've got a 1993 E350. 7.3 IDI (non-turbo), three speed automatic, 4.10 rear end ratio (two wheel drive), 225/75X16 tires. Right now, it's turning a little over 3000 rpm at 60 mph. I'd like to get the rpms below 2000 at 60. Does the 7.3 have enough horse power and torque (185HP @...

    Anotheruse for latex/nitrile gloves

If you make the burgers without gloves after working on you vehicle, your hands will be very clean. The more fat content of the ground meat the cleaner your hands. Making biscuits also is a good hand cleaner. PS: Cooking without gloves makes your hands smell better after a trip to the latrine.
