1997 E350 Chinook Side Entry RV

Not sure tbh. I’ve seen other chinook owners towing setups around 5k. I have towed a small VW rabbit behind it no problem on a tow dolly. Also a small trailer and a motorcycle.

    1998 Ford E350 Chinook Premier Quigley 4x4 101k $69,500

I wish I had a Premier when I started so I didn’t have to do some much fiberglass work when I replaced my windows. Premier in my opinion would be what I’d look for if I were to do another one. It would also have to be a side entry, so it would make it even harder to find now. maybe it’s my...

Yea not sure where your best jacking points would be with a hi-lift. Maybe the hitch receiver and same in the front if you have one installed. Also the wheels with a proper strap. I also carry a 20 ton air hydraulic bottle jack that can be handy and might be a better option for you. If you have...

How is your van altered for offroading?

Add ground clearance, carry some recovery boards, shovel, and a jack. That’s all you need really, dont over complicate things. Your departure angle is what will get ya every time haha This was from last night

    E350 Chinook Build

I used it once for pulling myself out, off a rather small tree too. And I’ve used it a handful of times pulling other rigs/cars out of situations. I try to use a snatch block when I can to keep stress off the winch. I would say it’s not 100% needed but it has come in handy. That and a set of...
