My '14 Forester Limited CVT has the paddle shifters witch are great for grade shifting i put on a curt hitch use it for the occasional trip with a small open top uhaul you can feel the trailer back there but as long as you stay in the weight limits you wont have any issues

Do you have a link to the engine changes over the years? all i found was https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Modular_engine no mention of 2011 changes for the 5.4
