    2024 F150

My brother and I did that! My parents had a 1975 F-250 Ranger XLT SuperCab with a slide-in Vanguard camper that we grew up camping in. I distinctly remember crawling through the back slider window of the truck and through the sliding window of the camper to go back and forth on long road trips...

Talk me out of it: 6.0L Powerstroke?

It’s on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada (and has been it’s entire life according to the Carfax). Not sure where you’re located, but if you’re still interested I’ll DM the ad to you.

Talk me out of it: 6.0L Powerstroke?

Alright. Y’all have convinced me to keep looking. Too bad, it was a good looking truck that ticked a lot of boxes. The search continues. There’s a 2020 F-350 XLT FX4 with the 7.3L that’s also caught my eye. 30k miles, sub-$40k. More money, but less headache.

Talk me out of it: 6.0L Powerstroke?

Appreciate the replies from everyone thus far. Elaboration would also be appreciated! @DirtWhiskey : bulletproofing would be the plan, using this kit from BCDiesel. They’re relatively local to me, so I’d get them to install. I’ll be calling them on Tuesday (after the Canadian Thanksgiving long...

Talk me out of it: 6.0L Powerstroke?

I've been in the market for a new truck for a while now, and as much as I'd like to buy new, prices are just too crazy right now. I'm also working on a startup small business, so I am not interested in financing anything and want to pay cash. I've come across a minty-fresh 2005 F-350 SRW Super...

Turns out I need a real truck. Kindly help me choose one!

Ah. I thought it was just him +1 and a soon to be kid. The LC seems big enough to me for the time being. It’s not like an Alu-Cabin has a massive amount of room.

Maybe I missed it, but why not build up your LC?

Ugh. But what are rigs going to look like in 10-15 years? Will "gas vs. diesel" still be a discussion? Will back-country exploration still be allowed in NA (or abroad)? Will we still have our health, our mobility, or even be around? Nah, don't wait. Don't put it off. Don't assume you'll "get to...

I'm no Ford fanboy - I have considered both the RAM Rebel and GM HD twins and would go Ford if I were buying today. '23+ F-350 XLT; 7.3 w/Tremor package and SAP or BAP to eliminate the chrome. Done. You get rear e-locker, 4.30s, 35s from the factory, and higher payload than the F-250 by ~1k...

Maybe it's the excessive price tags

I was looking at a 1500 Classic Warlock, loaded up for $50k CAD ($37,250 USD) that was languishing on a local lot with (over $18k off MSRP) and just when I thought “forget it, I’m gonna go see what kind of deal I can get” the dealer was sold to another conglomerate dealership and the same truck...

    Grenadier Pricing Announced

My thoughts exactly. Power Wagon (for ultimate offroad chops) or a gasser 2500 Rebel (for max towing and payload) has moved back up the list for me.

    Grenadier Pricing Announced

Woof. Played around on the configuration tool and spec'd out a $118k+ CAD build. I think these are going to be popular with the Gucci-eyeglass wearing crowd until the novelty wears off and they go back to their AMG G-Classes and Uruses. I was really considering one of these, but not at that price.

Barn Door for JK factory hardtops

Ah, I see. I thought perhaps the bottom of the bag was sewn closed but attached to the leather case (forming a more solid base). Still a neat bag! I look forward to seeing it on their website for purchase.
