Damn. VA inspection sounds like a nightmare. In NY they are required to plug into the OBD2 port on my 97 D1 to check for codes, and a minor safety inspection. If I went with one model year earlier it would have been safety only. Glad you got it all sorted out.

Nice! I just got the Arkon mount from Amazon and permanently mounted it to my overhead console for my Galaxy tab 7" tablet. Works great and is actually a pretty solid mount in my land rover discovery.

Very cool build

Download the RAVE manual (if available for your Rover) and leave the PDF's on there for use as a shop manual. Throw a bunch of maps, MP3's and Videos on it and use it for navigation and entertainment.

How much are these trucks expected to sell for?

Vacuum lines should be added to that list. Replace them or bring spares. The main line from the firewall cracked in half and my truck ran like it dropped a cylinder or two. Very unnerving failure for such a simple fix.
